privacy policy
last updated 1 september 2026
this policy explains what personal data keystone podcasts collects through this website, why, and what rights you have over it. it's written in plain language on purpose. if anything is unclear, email us and we'll explain it properly.
who we are
keystone podcasts is a joint production partnership between two independent businesses: podlad, based in dublin, ireland, and mkm audio, based in the united kingdom. for the purposes of data protection law, podlad and mkm audio are joint controllers of any personal data collected through this site. either business can be reached using the contact details at the bottom of this page.
what we collect
we only collect data you give us directly, or that's generated automatically by visiting the site.
- enquiries and bookings. if you email us or book a call, we hold your name, email address, and anything else you choose to tell us, such as your company name or the content of your message.
- site usage. like most websites, this one uses cookies and similar technology to understand how it's used, through squarespace's built in analytics and google analytics. this includes things like pages visited, time on site, device and browser type, and approximate location based on ip address. we don't use this to identify you personally.
why we collect it
- to reply to your enquiry and arrange a call, which is necessary for us to take the steps you've asked for before any agreement is in place.
- to understand how people use the site and make it more useful, which we consider a legitimate interest as long as it doesn't override your own rights.
- where cookies aren't strictly necessary for the site to function, we only set them with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
cookies
this site is built on squarespace, which sets some cookies automatically to make the site work and to provide its own analytics. we also use google analytics to understand traffic. you'll be asked to accept or decline non essential cookies when you first visit. you can change your mind at any time by clearing your cookies and revisiting the site, or by adjusting your browser settings to block cookies generally.
for more detail on what squarespace itself collects as the platform host, see squarespace's own privacy policy.
who we share it with
we don't sell or rent your data to anyone. it's shared only with the services that help us run this site and our business, each of whom processes it under their own data protection commitments:
- squarespace, who hosts this website and provides site analytics.
- google, for analytics (google analytics) and for the email accounts we use to correspond with you (google workspace).
we won't share your enquiry details with anyone outside podlad and mkm audio unless we're required to by law.
how long we keep it
enquiry and correspondence data is kept for as long as it's useful to our working relationship, and for a reasonable period after, in case we work together again or for our own record keeping. analytics data is retained according to google's and squarespace's own default retention settings, which you can read about in their respective policies.
your rights
under gdpr, you have the right to ask us what data we hold about you, to have it corrected if it's wrong, to have it deleted, to object to how we use it, and to ask for a copy in a portable format. to exercise any of these, just email us.
if you're not satisfied with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the irish data protection commission or the uk information commissioner's office, depending on where you're based.
changes to this policy
we'll update this page if what we collect or how we use it changes. the date at the top always reflects the most recent version.
