two countries, one studio
dublin and plymouth
bren works out of dublin, ireland. max works out of plymouth, england. we are not in the same room, and we have never needed to be.
that's exactly how we work with clients and build podcasts. you don't ever need to be in the same room as us or your guest to build a show that grows your business.

while we love building a business, what brought us together was a shared belief that business should not come at the cost of life with the people that matter the most.
our time with our young kids and partners is something we do not negotiate on. if we don't have that time, our business is fundamentally broken, no matter what the profit margin.
there's no harder job than being a parent. it hands you the toughest, most stretching moments of your life, long before any client or deadline does. that's exactly why we show up for it. and it's why the business rarely rattles us — we've already done the hard part.

two saints
once a saint, always a saint
we both love our football. funnily enough, we both support two different football clubs in two different countries, both called the saints: southampton on the south coast of england, and st. patrick's athletic on the southside of dublin.
ní neart go cur le chéile
st. patrick's athletic's motto. an old irish proverb — there is no strength without unity. that's closer to why keystone exists than the football is.
we started as two freelancers, and the more we talked and shared what we knew, the more we could help each other, and in turn help our clients make better content. the weight of working alone got lighter. we felt more permission to make the calls we actually believed in.
raising kids is hard. it's a little easier with someone doing it alongside you. we've found the same is true in business, in a client relationship, and in a business podcast — you're there to support someone else's story, not take it over.
that's why we'd rather make 500k each as partners than a million alone. the work means more, and we both learn more, doing it together.
that's the reward we're chasing with clients. not the invoice. the moment their business actually gets better because of the content we made. that's the part that makes this worth doing.
a keystone doesn't carry the weight. it's what makes the weight shareable. that's the business we named ourselves after.

a short call, no pitch deck. we'll tell you straight if it's worth doing.
